Hoakalei Golf Course
Integral to the development of the 13th hole of the world-class Hoakalei Golf Course, ENPRO characterized the extent of soil contamination and subsequently managed the removal of 15,000 cubic yards of soil for off-site disposal.
Asbestos Assessment Project Monitoring – Lihue
Lihue Sugar Mill
Prior to demolition of this historic sugar mill, we collected hundreds of samples to determine demolition operations. During demolition, we conducted Project Monitoring to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and work specifications.
DEVELOPMENT PLANNING | LANAI CITY
Lanai High School
In preparation of the expansion of Lanai High School, ENPRO collaborated with the State of Hawaii Department of Education and the Department of Health; prepared plans and conducted multi-increment soil sampling/analysis to assess for pineapple-related, residual pesticides.
DESIGN-BUILD: HAZARDOUS MATERIALS | SCHOFIELD BARRACKS
UEPH Barracks
As a key member of the Design-Build Team for this $30 million, LEED Gold, Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing project for the U.S. Army, ENPRO developed specifications and work plans; identified hazardous materials in existing structures; and characterized contaminated soil and groundwater.
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT | NEW ORLEANS
Waldorf-Astoria Roosevelt Hotel
During Hurricane Katrina, the entire 50,000 square foot basement of this historic hotel filled with flood water (alligator included, really). As part of the $125 million renovation, ENPRO successfully removed the asbestos-containing materials, on time and on budget.
CONSTRUCTION MONITORING | HONOLULU
Ala Moana Force Mains
For this three year project involving the upgrade of two miles of sewer force mains through the central urban core of Honolulu, ENPRO provided work, safety and sampling/analysis plans; air monitoring; soil/water sampling/testing; soil management and disposal oversight.
